Seasoned radio presenter and TV host, Rev. Azigiza Jnr., has joined the Class Media Group (CMG) brand as host of the Gospel Breakfast Show (GBS) on No. 1FM 105.3.
With the tagline 'For God and Ghana', the GBS begins from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. every weekday.
Segments to be featured on the show include ‘Eboboba’, which is a dramatisation of issues affecting the body of Christ; ‘Lyrical Biblical’, which involves the analysis of songs to determine their gospel content; and ‘If I’m in charge’, which is meant to give Ghanaians the opportunity to call into the show and tell the audience what they would do if they were ministers in charge of different sectors of government.
Speaking on what listeners should expect, Rev. Azigiza said: “We are doing a different kind of breakfast show. We are a fresh alternative to other shows in Ghana. Expect to listen to a proud Ga man mixing Twi and English”.
Rev. Azigiza, who has over thirty years of experience in the media, expressed his excitement in joining the CMG brand, stating: “The feeling is exciting, challenging and interesting. I've been used to waking up at my own time but now by 5 a.m. I'm seated here. I’ve been off the radio for a while, so, I need to bring things that people are not doing and because I’m also a pastor and a host, I get to blend both”.
Rev. Azigiza Jnr., whose real name is Victor Kpakpo Jnr., is a multimedia consultant, TV host and the brand ambassador for Sasso.
He is also the pastor of Citizen Fellowship, Spintex Road and the author of ‘And So What?’
He has also worked with the Magic Malt brand.
